This morning we had a simple sample feast. Bebe had a cup of Stash Chocolate Hazelnut Tea with cream and honey. There was a surplus of bread to choose from. I sliced halves and thirds of day old (week old?) plain white, sour dough, full grain, and brioche. Of course brioche won out but primarily for its density and thick cut. The flavor as a breakfast bread helped too. But on days when we don't have brioche, after this experiment, I prefer the plain white and sourdough. In the future we'll try out the bread machine too.
